Amidst the sprawling grounds, lapping lakeshore, and verdant footpaths, you’ll find a place steeped in Northwest history.
Saint Edward State Park is a 326-acre day-use park with 3,000 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Washington. Picnic tables are available on a first-come, first-served, and the Grotto and several picnic areas are available for rental. For events at the seminary, please contact The Lodge at Saint Edward. There is no watercraft launch at the park, but paddlers launching from other parts of Lake Washington can bring their kayaks and boards onto the beach.
CAIRn BREWING
A true neighborhood brewery along the Northshore of Lake Washington.
The dog and family-friendly taproom offer an up-close view of the brewing area amid communal tables or in the beer garden with options for sun and shade. The beer program features a range of year-round and seasonal ales and lagers with 15 or more onsite-brewed beers on tap. Cairn hosts a wide variety of rotating food trucks at the Kenmore Food Truck Corner. Bike, hike, bus, or drive to the taproom alongside Seattle’s urban trail, the Burke-Gilman, and Highway 522.
INGLEWOOD GOLF CLUB
A rare gem among Pacific Northwest golf clubs.
It combines a spectacular setting, illustrious heritage, and a championship golf course to create the ultimate golfing experience. Dating back to 1919, Inglewood Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in the Pacific Northwest. The handsome clubhouse, an architectural masterpiece, was built in 1926 and has recently been restored to enhance and reflect its rich French Provincial influence.
LOG BOOM PARK
The public dock is a fantastic place to watch the seaplanes land, toss out a line for fishing, or enjoy the sunset.
This 3.9-acre park provides access to over 1200 lineal feet of shoreline on Kenmore’s Lake Washington waterfront. Other features include the Kenmore History Path, playground area, picnic tables, access to the Burke-Gilman Trail, daytime moorage, and restroom facility.
